Digital x-rays

Digital x-rays are superior to conventional x-rays for many reasons. 

• They expose you to about 90% less radiation
• They are immediately readable, so you don’t have to spend time waiting to see if the images need to be retaken
• They are easily stored on the computer for easy and immediate reference when needed
• They are better for the environment, because they do not require chemical developing

Air abrasion

For certain small cavities, air abrasion can mean no needles and no drills.. A high powered stream of air, with powder, cleans decay from small cavities on the chewing surfaces of back teeth, allowing a white filling to be bonded in place. In the right circumstances it is quick, painless and conserves tooth structure. 

Intra oral cameras

Intra-oral cameras serve two functions: they allow us to get a close up look inside your mouth and also allow us to share that view with you. Using the intraoral camera helps us explain why we’re suggesting certain treatments and makes you a more active partner in your dental care.

Diagnodent

The DIAGNOdent is a small, portable laser unit that can detect even very small cavities and alert us with an audible signal. With the DIAGNOdent we can stop cavities in their infancy, allowing us to preserve more of your original tooth structure.

ViziLite Plus
